Enterprise knowledge management ebook
Designed an ebook detailing how to implement successful governance by taking a comprehensive approach to managing your enterprise knowledge. The ebook outlines what organizations that take a unified approach to knowledge management can benefit from, as well as use cases from finance and government.
Though ebooks can be some of our more creative projects, the copy can still be quite technical. It was crucial to work closely with our team of content marketers, product managers, and editors to better understand the concepts being discussed. Without a firm understanding of this, it would be impossible to design the layout, create illustrations, and select stock photography.
Before and after
Along with the original copy deck, the client created an initial version of each chart themselves. However, they all looked pretty flat and were in a similar style to what you might see in a PowerPoint deck. Ebooks tend to be more creative projects, so I wanted to make sure that the chart style matched that.
However, each chart is repeated and continuously built upon, so whatever design I decided on would have to be easily built upon and scaled in size. The original versions were also quite complicated and busy, so I knew simplifying them would be a priority.
